Ended the day with a beautiful layered concrete pour, tented for the pending rain. Once that is 100% dry, I’ll reform the bottom of the damaged poles with Bondo (yes, Bondo - it’s not just for cars anymore!)
While I work on the landscape design; removing the stone bedding under these newly refurbished benches, I went ahead and started on fixing support poles for a car portico
Well, I did NOT expect that - as I scraped the old paint off, it revealed a 3” deep void under a old, cracked repair. After I chipped it out and thoroughly cleaned the area, I wire brushed the rusted portion and put a SW prohibitive primer on.
