Meet your Handi Ma’am!

Growing up in Pittsburgh as the daughter of an engineer, I spent my days on job sites building or in our own home installing the latest and greatest - remember when track lighting and intercoms were all the rage?

I credit my incredible patience and never give up attitude to my dad: no matter the encounter - an unexpected drain pipe where we’d planned to put a recessed shelf, or a prepped space when we expected the worst - we’d put our heads to the task and celebrate when we found the solution.

My father passed away in 2010, and it was my turn to take the lessons I’d learned, work on my own home and help our friends make their spaces cozy and custom. As a stay at home mom, having handy skills is quite… handy! With a little help from my husband, sons and good friends, we’ve been able to make our house a home.

That is what I envision for you - taking Pinterest magical visions and ideas, and making them work for the home you live in.
